College & Career Readiness

At Piney Grove, we support college and career readiness by aligning our work with the American School Counselor Association National Model and Georgia’s Top State for Talent to ensure all students develop the knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed for future success. Through classroom lessons, small groups, and individual planning, we help students explore their interests, strengths, and values while connecting those to potential career pathways. We guide students in setting academic and personal goals, understanding the relationship between effort and opportunity, and developing essential skills such as organization, decision-making, and self-advocacy. Our work ensures that every student begins building a strong foundation for high school planning, postsecondary options, and lifelong career readiness.
