In this 9-week course, students will gain knowledge of basic marketing concepts and will develop skills that will allow them to use the marketing information through project-based instruction. Students will develop basic personal, social and employability skills through their development of portfolios and delivery of presentations.  Each grade level will have similar activities that are designed to build on and improve the student's ability to use the computer with a variety of applications.

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. There are regional, state and international competitions throughout the year. All DECA members are eligible for competitions.
